What remains local
The Geno-5 simulation runs as WebAssembly on your device. WebGPU or Canvas draws the field, and WebAudio makes and records the music in the browser. A WAV or video is written to your device only when you ask for it; Confluon does not upload the take.
The address bar records the seed and visible performance settings so a take can be reproduced. Those values leave your device only when you share or copy that address. There are no accounts, advertising profiles, or cross-site identifiers.
Diagnostics
When production diagnostics are enabled, Confluon sends software errors and a small sample of performance timings to Sentry. This helps identify failed WebGPU devices, audio startup problems, recording errors, and browser-specific crashes.
Diagnostic reports remove URL query strings and fragments, cookies, request bodies, authorization headers, and user fields. Session replay is disabled, and Confluon does not ask Sentry to collect default personal information. The Sentry project should also be configured not to retain client IP addresses.
Feedback and measurement
The optional Feedback control sends the message you write, together with restrained technical context, to Sentry. It does not request your name or email and cannot attach a screenshot. Please do not include private information in the message.
Confluon may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure anonymous page performance and broad traffic. Cloudflare documents that its browser beacon does not use cookies or browser storage and discards the source IP address at the nearest data centre. The beacon is not loaded when your browser sends a Do Not Track preference.

Opening Ko-fi or a cited research source takes you to another service with its own privacy terms. Confluon does not tell those services which seed or settings you were playing.
Use the Feedback control inside the instrument for a concise report. If diagnostics are unavailable, the control stays hidden rather than sending data somewhere else.
